Privacy Policy
LogViewer (the "App") is a flight-log recording and viewing application provided by an individual developer (the "Developer"). This policy describes the information the App collects and how it is handled.
1. Information We Collect
①Location information
The App obtains GPS location information only while the user has started a flight recording (Flight Mode). While recording, location collection continues as a foreground service even when the screen is off. Recording is started and stopped solely by the user's own actions.
②Account information
The App collects your email address, display name, and an optional profile photo.
③Flight logs
The App collects and stores IGC files (a track of position, altitude, and time) together with their visibility setting (Private / Peers / Public). It also collects information related to favorites and likes (user ID).

- Recording, playback, and analysis of flight logs
- Cloud storage and sharing of flight logs
- Account management
3. Storage and Security
Collected information is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication / Cloud Firestore). Communication is encrypted with TLS.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Maps (map display)
- Firebase (authentication and data storage)
- Open-Meteo (to obtain historical weather; the log's location and date/time are sent)
- CARTO (fetching offline map tiles)
The App does not use any advertising SDK, and we do not sell collected data.
5. Visibility
Logs set to "Public" are visible to all users. Logs set to "Peers" are visible only to the peers you have registered. Logs set to "Private" are not visible to other users.
6. Deleting Data
You can delete logs and change their visibility from within the App. To request deletion of your account and all data, please contact the email address below (this may also be offered as an in-app feature in the future).
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is revised, we will announce the changes on this page.
